I know the Revolutions rule about Nazis but I think it was a good use for a quick page or two villains that it's easy to defeat and get on with the rest of the story. you might not like it but it serves it's purpose for the story.

What's the deal with the Nazi rule? I know it is a tired way of portraying a character as evil and make him hated by the reader, but there are millions of cliches and rehashes of outdated concepts and storytelling techniques all over comics, and yet there is no "Beat up a strong character to establish another character as a heavy hitter Rule", a "Strong, independent and slightly slutty female lead Rule" or a "Deus ex Machina Rule". What's with the Nazis?

@Anonymous: Yeah, I see our point, but it just didn't work for me at all.

@Jimmy Bag: You are totally right. There are tons of cliches in comics that there could be rule violations for. I just simply picked one that is by far and away my biggest pet peeve when it comes to comic book cliches. Absolutely no cliche annoys me more than the Nazi (or some supremacist derivation).

So, since it is my website I figured I would make up the Nazi Rule for my biggest pet peeve in comic books. That's pretty much it. It is mostly cathartic for me. ;)
